Here’s another bird music gem as sent to me many moons ago by a regular on my bird walks Wendy Knothe. Anyone else got any bird themed music tunes they want to recommend?

Under Clear Skies 
Dolly Parton has an album called Little Sparrow with a song of the same title. Several bird songs in bluegrass music. Van Morrison talks about birding all day in a poem/song about a day spent at Coney Island. Day of the Eagle by Robin Trower would probably be my favorite bird song.
A friend of mine actually went and recorded some songs out in the field whilst the bird mentioned in the title sang live in the background. He had quite the amusing story about the time he did the Whip-poor-will track and ran into a group of stoners out in the middle of the woods at midnight!!!!
My gosh-what those stoners must have been thinking. They probably laughed their heads off for hours.
