I’ve been messing around with the video function on my camera and Peepers seem to make the perfect first subject. Now I just have to work out how to get those little birdies on film. I feel a project coming on.

To answer the title question…. yes!
I love sitting out at dusk and listening to the peepers and woodcock. Or anything else that feels like allowing me to hear it.
That is a really neat video. One of my favorite things to do in April is go to areas that hold hundreds of breeding toads. Since they are calling during the day at that time, it is awesome to see so many throat pouches.
